i can honestly say this year i had no idea who any of the draft picks were before about a week ago when i heard of bogut.
the knicks drafted some frye guy out of arizona i think. at this point, i won't really give isiah and the knicks the benefit of the doubt on pretty much anything. this guy apparently has got skills but he's a little soft. only time will tell, let's hope he turns out to be a player. i don't know that he can post up big men very well and that's really what the knicks need ("well, yea, that and a pair of testicles"). they aren't exactly a dime a dozen, though. i don't know what's going on with trading their only low post presence for - surprise, surprise - another swingman. if isiah thomas ever played nintendo hockey from the eighties he must have chosen all medium guys.

Channing Frye was on Mike and the Mad Dog. He seems like a good guy. He definitely has upside. But yeah apparently his problem might be that he tries to "fit in" and be "versatile" instead of using his size and athleticism to just bang around the basket.
I can't even remember the guy, even though I watched the NCAA tourney last year. But I think it was a good pick, even if he proves to be a pussy. Gotta take a chance on a decent big guy.
